CLIENT SERVICE SPECIALIST
Responsible for prioritizing projects to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment. Will often need to conceptualize and develop high quality, creative and professional-looking and client deliverables. Provide administrative support to multiple assigned financial advisors, often handling details of a confidential nature.

Duties:

  • Position will be comprised of general daily tasks as well as more specialized responsibilities
  • Process paperwork and keep detailed, well-organized records pertaining to opening and closing accounts
  • Ensure that the firm’s applicable Compliance documents are in order (B/D and SEC)
  • Operate computers and other office equipment as needed and handle correspondence with customers
  • Responsible for tracking workflow, ensuring that jobs are completed in required time frames to client specifications
  • Keep log and updates regarding various tasks, and ensure projects are completed to company standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years experience related to supporting multiple people preferably in the financial planning or brokerage industry
  • Series 6 or 7 a plus
  • Must have the ability to understand and convey financial planning business concepts through effective written and verbal communication
  • Must display exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to take little direction and progress towards solutions desired by internal stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Change-adept, proactive, quick learner, and consistently improvement-minded. Resourceful self-starter; pressure-durable, detail-oriented and quality-driven
  • Should demonstrate a clear aptitude for quantitative analysis and be comfortable with multitasking when necessary
  • Able to master brokerage and financial planning office procedures easily.
  • Ability to monitor, manage and execute on a variety of tasks and efforts at different stages of priority and execution; handles large request queue.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
