Venturi manages ~$2billion of client investments and has eight private equity funds.

Venturi is seeking an accounting manager that will manage both the firm’s private equity fund accounting and its internal accounting. In this role, you’ll manage two staff and report to the CFO, as well as work with the fund management and the portfolio company representatives. Additionally, you’ll help advisors with select clients on general tax coordination. This is an exciting opportunity to impact the firm’s financial and accounting development.

What You’ll Do:

Private funds financial activities:

  • Manage quarterly financial close with the private equity fund administrators
  • Manage annual tax reporting with the private equity fund tax firm
  • Coordinate fund portfolio investment reporting with the sponsors
  • Manage fund investor activities including capital calls, distributions, investor reporting

Firm accounting activities:

  • Prepare firm monthly financial reports including analysis
  • Perform monthly accounting close processes, including booking JEs and preparing supporting report analyses
  • Assist with financial planning and analysis
  • Oversee accounting G/L activity including booking JEs and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations
  • Coordinate investment tax matters between select clients and their tax advisors


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
  • 3 or more years of accounting experience required
  • CPA license or candidate
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Proficient with Quickbooks Online, and MSExcel
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Self-manage and able to set priorities
  • Ability to learn different systems quickly
