Position Summary
The Client Service Associate 2 (CSA2) interacts and provides support to clients, peers, Wealth Managers, partners, and service partners. The CSA2 will be familiar with and capable of explaining Veris Wealth Partners’ investment philosophy, sustainability work, services offerings, process and products and impact vision in order to support the implementation of client’s impact Wealth Management plan. The CSA2 should be comfortable with the wealth management, service and investment needs of target clients including but not limited to high-net worth individuals, families, and family foundations.
Essential Functions
- Support our remote clients’ requests, handling and screening phone calls to best support client needs and resolve initial requests. Process daily mail and filing as needed
- Prepare and process custodian paperwork to setup new accounts, add account features, and transfer assets, performance reporting set-up
- Prepare materials for client account reviews and prospective client meetings, prepare and process client account forms. Support all meeting follow-up as appropriate
- Assist with client requests: information, reports, wires, incoming & outgoing check processing, journals, tax document support, etc. Follow-up with service providers to ensure accurate and timely completion of requests
- Maintain all client relationship management (CRM) database and files so they are accurate and up to date Schedule client meetings and maintain current knowledge of team calendars and preferences for impact wealth management team to manage efficient meeting scheduling and support
- Update asset allocation spreadsheets and monitor ongoing transaction activity and performance of client accounts
- Attend client meetings to build relationships, provide administrative support and for career development opportunities as needed
- Assist in planning and preparation of materials and presentations for client and other conference calls and meetings
- Distribute performance reports, and other client meeting materials to clients according to their preferences, whether through the CRM, email, or postal mail
- Review client portfolios and anticipate client needs, support implementation and administration of client portfolios
- Create and maintain benchmarks for accounts as requested
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Familiarity with business related software and systems such as, but not limited to performance reporting, CRM database, financial management portal, and office phone systems
- Working knowledge of investment account types and transactions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
- Broad knowledge developing sustainability and impact investing
- Strong client service orientation and aptitude

Education and Experience
- Certification or college degree in finance, wealth management, financial planning or related field preferred
- 1 year of experience as a CSA1 preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience working in a bank, brokerage or similar financial institution environment
- Prior experience working with Wealth Management or Investment Advisory firms preferred
- 2 or more years of experience with Sustainable, Responsible, and Impact Investing preferred
